1. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SlipDesk ("we", "our", or "the Platform"), operating from Pune, Maharashtra, India, handles personal, commercial, and operational information when you access our website (https://dealer-line.vercel.app) and our frontline order management software.

2. Categories of Data Collected

We collect and process only the minimum operational data necessary to facilitate wholesale order booking, vehicle dispatch manifests, and customer credit ledger tracking:

• Distributor Business Information: Agency/Business name, proprietor/manager name, contact phone number, billing address, GSTIN (optional), and Bharat UPI ID (for generating QR codes on invoices).
• Retailer Customer Information: Retail store name, owner/contact person name, phone number, delivery route area (e.g. Camp, Kothrud, Hadapsar, Swargate, PCMC), address, and running debit/credit ledger balances.
• Product Catalog Data: Product names, SKUs, wholesale selling prices, MRPs, unit types (e.g. pkt, pouch, tin, box, bag), and customized colloquial shorthand aliases (e.g. amul 500, fortune 1l).
• Order & Dispatch Records: Itemized order lines, quantities, unit rates, calculated totals, order timestamps, fulfillment status (Pending, Confirmed, Packed, Dispatched, Delivered), and vehicle route assignments.
• Authentication Data: User email address and encrypted password credentials (when utilizing cloud authentication via Supabase).

3. Methods of Data Collection

Data is entered into SlipDesk through the following direct mechanisms:

• Direct manual keyboard input by distributor staff at the billing counter (e.g. via /orders/new).
• Direct pasting of unformatted WhatsApp chat messages into the Fast Order Matcher drawer.
• Bulk product upload via standard CSV import files.

4. Purposes of Data Processing

Your wholesale records are processed strictly for operational SaaS functions:

• Transcribing colloquial shorthand abbreviations into itemized, confirmed orders in sub-millisecond local time.
• Constructing client-side A4 Invoice and 80mm Thermal Receipt delivery challans with dynamic Bharat UPI QR codes.
• Aggregating daily route orders into warehouse vehicle loading manifests and stop-by-stop driver drop sheets.
• Generating 1-click pre-filled WhatsApp confirmation links (wa.me) and customer balance recovery reminders.
• Providing historical revenue, dispatch, and order volume analytics on your distributor dashboard.

5. Data Storage, Isolation & Security

SlipDesk employs a hybrid local-first and secure cloud architecture:

• Browser LocalStorage: For counter desk resilience, all product, customer, route, and order data persists locally in browser keys (dealerline_org_v1, etc.) allowing full operation during internet outages.
• PostgreSQL with Row Level Security (RLS): Cloud storage is powered by Supabase with tenant-isolated Row Level Security policies. Each distributor's records can only be queried by authorized team members belonging to that organization.
• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and cloud services is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.3.

6. Third-Party Integrations & Disclosures

SlipDesk limits external data transmission to essential infrastructure:

• WhatsApp Integration: SlipDesk generates direct client-side deep links (https://wa.me/...). When you click Send, your native WhatsApp application handles message dispatch. SlipDesk does not pass your customer chats to Meta Cloud API servers or pay-per-message brokers.
• Cloud Database Provider: Supabase Inc. (managed PostgreSQL backend with encrypted data at rest).
• Hosting Infrastructure: Vercel Inc. (Next.js edge application deployment).
• Zero Third-Party Advertising: We do not deploy advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral analytics on the SlipDesk order console.

7. Data Ownership, Portability & Deletion

You retain full, exclusive ownership of your customer lists, catalog, and order transactions.

• Instant Backup & Export: You can download a complete structured JSON/CSV export of all your business data at any time via Settings.
• Data Deletion: You can delete individual records or wipe local cache directly from your application settings. Account deletion requests can be submitted via email or WhatsApp helpline.
